GUILLERMO FABBRI

In 1996, obtained his Law Degree Cum Laude from Universidad Católica Boliviana (Bolivian Catholic University.

In 1997 was honored with the prize of “Best Law Thesis in Bolivia 1997” by the Association of Spouses of High National Studies (AE-DAEN).

Obtained his Master Degree on Management and Public Policy by a program administered by Bolivian Catholic University and Harvard Institute for International Development. (HIID), obtaining the highest qualification on the Degree Project (Final Dissertation).

Former Vice Manager of Legal Affairs and Vice Manager of Legal Analysis and Norms, both of the Central Bank of Bolivia (2000-2003). Also was member of various legislative commissions on commercial and banking topics (2000-2003).

Participant on various international seminars, remarking the XXII Latinamerican Congress on Banking Law (FELABAN), Punta del Este – Uruguay (2003); Annual meeting of Regulatory and Supervision lawyers. Brazilian Central Bank (2002); Global Developments in Financial Law, International Monetary Fund, Washington DC (2002).

Arbitrator in the Center of Conciliation and Arbitration in the Bolivian Chamber of Commerce.

Member of the Interamerican Intellectual Property Association (ASIPI).

Currently professor on Commercial Law in Bolivian Catholic University. Also teaches Financial and Banking in Postgraduate at Universidad Andina “Simón Bolívar” and Universidad Católica Boliviana.   Former professor of Finance and Taxation at Universidad Privada Boliviana.

Speaks English and Italian.
